Ms Lihle Mthethwa

Caring4Girls Programme Co-ordinator for all Provinces

Ms. Lihle Mthethwa joined the Imbumba Foundation in 2018 as the Caring4Girls Programme Co-ordinator for all provinces. Prior to this, Ms. Mthethwa obtained her Word Processing Certificate from the World Training College in 2008 and her Human Resource Hiring Practise Certificate from UNISA in 2009. Further courses she has completed include Front Office Reception Certificate in 2009, Basic Fire Fighting Certificate in 2009, First Aid Training level 1 and 2 Certificate in 2010, Supervisory Skills Training Certificate in 2011, Task and Time management Certificate and a Bayete HIV/AIDS Awareness Certificate in 2012.

From 2003 to 2006, she was involved in a four-year programme for students who maintained a first class pass in each of the 65 schools in KZN, supported by TICOR SA.  As a result of her commitment, she was one of the finalists in the centenary schools civil engineering water competition whereby she represented KZN competing with other provinces in 2004. She further received a recognition certificate for theory in Mathematics, Physical Science and Biology on the same programme.

In 2006 she was involved in a community development programme, namely Indigenous Trees for Life/ Indigenous Trees for School Fees, supported by a Non-Governmental organization, Wildlands Conservation Trust. She joined Wildlands Conservation Trust in 2007 and held various positions over her tenure until 2013 where she was Office and Distributions Manager. She went onto join TVT Engineering where she was the receptionist and administrator in 2015 and KWS Projects as PA to the MD in 2016.
